Pilates – why is it worth it?
Mat Pilates is a form of training that strengthens the deep muscles, improves posture and teaches conscious control of your body. At Fabryka Ruchu in Rzeszów, we run these classes in small groups — with no equipment, using only your body weight and a mat.
What is mat Pilates?
It's training based on precise, controlled exercises, where the quality of movement matters more than the number of repetitions. We focus mainly on:
- Deep muscles (core) — stabilising the trunk and spine
- Breathing — coordinated with movement, supporting focus
- Mobility and control — smooth, conscious transitions between positions
- Posture — strengthening the muscles responsible for proper alignment
